Abstract
Ahilan (Ahi) Karunaharan is a performer, director, playwright and deviser of Sri Lankan Tamil descent whose work has been presented by theatre companies and arts festival in Aotearoa, Australia and beyond. He was awarded the prestigious Bruce Mason playwriting award in 2018, an Excellence in Arts Leadership award in 2019, and is an Arts Foundation Laureate. Hilary Halba interviews Ahi about his practice as a performer.
