Abstract

Dame Miranda Harcourt is an award-winning actor, director and acclaimed acting coach for stage and screen. Miranda has taught acting at prestigious institutions around the world including at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, London Film School and the National Film and Television School in the United Kingdom ("Miranda Harcourt" website http://mirandaharcourt.com/). She was Head of Acting at Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School for seven years. Miranda's clients include Nicole Kidman, Juliette Binoche, Saoirse Ronan, and her daughter Thomasin McKenzie. Hilary Halba speaks to Miranda about her approach to actor training.
