Infant breast-feeding influences adult cholesterol levels and cardiovascular mortality. The objective of this study was to assess the influence of infant breastfeeding on C-reactive protein (CRP), a marker of low-grade inflammation associated with cardiovascular mortality independent of serum cholesterol levels.
