Abstract
Levodopa is the main medication used to attenuate the motor symptoms of people with Parkinson’s disease (PD). On the one hand, levodopa can improve some parameters of human gait, such as spatio-temporal parameters; on the other hand, levodopa can lead to side effects, such as dyskinesia (involuntary movement).
Thus, we investigated the impact of dyskinesia on the sensorimotor features, balance and gait of people with PD.
