In this study, we compared blood pressures obtained by the tail-cuff method with BP's recorded directly via an indwelling aortic cannula in conscious normotensive (N) and GH rats. The effect of ether anaesthesia on the intra-arterial BP has been measured in GH and N rats using an indwelling aortic cannula.
