Abstract

iron
The results show no correlation between iron concentration and gestational age, both the lowest (632 μg/g) and the highest (5990 μg/g) values being in the 26-29 week group. No significant difference was found between the mean values for the 22 males and the 17 females, nor between the means for the 8 fetuses of known Polynesian origin and the 14 of known European origin.
