Abstract
We summarize the situation of female physicists in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2023. In particular, we identify the point in the educational timeline where the gender imbalance in Physics begins, and follow the "leaky pipeline" through to the faculty level at universities. We discuss the possible reasons for the disparity and propose actions to improve female representation in Physics.
