Abstract
This dataset contains all data not available on NCBI referenced in the paper by Keddell et al. entitled 'The Genome of Microstigmus rosae: Addition of an Independent Origin of Eusociality to the Genomic Record'. This includes data for Microstigmus rosae and a close relative from the same family, Pemphredon lugubris, relating to repetitive/transposable element modelling from EDTA for both species within the contained 'EDTA_results' folder, functional annotations of both species annotated gene sets using eggNOG and InterProScan, each within a subfolder of the 'functional_annotations' directory contained, and OrthoFinder results comparing the contents of the BRAKER annotated M. rosae and P. lugubris genomes with that of the independently generated P. lugubris annotation set available on NCBI. Additionally, the P. lugubris annotations generated by BRAKER in this study are provided within the pemphredon_lugubris_annotations directory.
