Data contains files with photos of the fore wing of psyllids and puparia of whiteflies - the described new species Miotetraleurodes novaezelandiae in this study, prepared using a Canon T3 camera attached to a Nikon SMZ1000 stereomicroscope and manipulated using Photoshop CS5.1 software. For scanning electron microscopy we used a JEOL FE-SEM6700 microscope at the (Otago Centre for Electron Microscopy, University of Otago).
