Abstract
The synthesis and characterisation of new asymmetric bolaform surfactants incorporating tertiary amine functionality is presented, as well as the elucidation of their surfactant and aggregation properties. The use of the surfactants as structure directing agents towards the synthesis of super-microporous silicate materials is also explored.
