Abstract

Teeth – Abnormalities closed bite bite opening malocclusion
In the treatment of malocclusion the problem of the lack of vertical height or a "closed bite” is one which has frequently been imperfectly understood. Not until the concept of a freeway space and the concomitant factor of the rest position of the mandible was promulgated by Thompson and Brodie was it possible to make a rational approach to the problem.
