Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate certain mandibular changes which follow the treatment of Angle Class II malocclusion using the Andreson(3F) appliance, (Figs. 1 and 2).
Changes are produced in both jaws in the treatment of the above type of malocclusion by the Andresen method; the post-normal mandible however is the main problem and the greatest changes are associated with this jaw.
This study is concerned with the following -
1. forward repositioning of the mandible in occlusion,
2. alteration in the rest position of the mandible, and
3. changes in the region of the condyle.
