Abstract
In this thesis it is proposed to study some of the bodily changes that are associated with emotion, the "measures of emotion", together with parallel studies of behaviour and clinical course in relation to prefrontal leucotomy, The whole pattern of change that follows operation mil be studied with especial emphasis on the early postoperative period when the changes are most marked.
