Abstract
Nurses, as we so often hear, are the largest health care group. New Zealand has been exposed to significant weather related adverse events including cyclones, hurricanes, flooding, as well as other natural occurrences such as earthquakes, fires and volcanic eruptions. Be willing to speak out on the things that matter - to recognise your values and your beliefs and to reflect on what matters in health and emergency care.
