It is fitting that the launch of Business and Industrial History, which started out as Scottish Industrial History (1977-2010) and then continued as Scottish Business and Industrial History (2011-23), as an open access platform, should have as its subject one of Scotland’s most enduring and both materially and symbolically significant industries; that of Scotch whisky.
