Abstract
Interest in agricultural education in New Zealand has of recent years received a great impetus. The economic situation has forced its value upon the attention of the community, and the presence of Lord Bledisloe in the country for the last five years has proved an invaluable stimulus to all things connected with agriculture. His speeches gave not only the stimulus to existing thought, but practically showed new avenues of approach, and gave new lines of thought. He showed clearly his belief in the emphasis that must always be laid on research and displayed a profound interest in Massey Agricultural College.
