Abstract
Bianchi models deviate from standard cosmology by allowing intrinsic curvature and shear. This is a violation of the Copernican principle by violating the assumption of isotropy. Along with curvature and shear, we introduce a tilt to our fluid and a scalar field. From this we will see how well the assumption of isotropy holds as we tend to the initial singularity or if minor deviations in the initial data lead to massive final deviations as we get closer to the initial singularity.
We aim to understand the late stage behavior of the model and see if any new interesting phenomena are introduced. We also aim to gain insight into the assumption of isotropy through contrasting it to an anisotropic universe and the impact this has on our current understanding of the universe.
