The thesis conducts a pilot survey of New Zealander's interest in Space research and exploration, attempting to gauge how much support there is nationally. Furthermore, the second half of the thesis is a Creative Component titled "New Frontiers: The Future of Humanity in Space". This portion is a popular science-styled book dealing with the possibilities of the future of humanity among the stars.
