Abstract
This thesis first examined methods of attaching radio transmitters to common geckos (Hoplodactylus maculatus) in a laboratory study. Using the results from the laboratory study, a telemetric field study of jewelled geckos (Naultinus gemmeus) examining home ranges, behaviour and habitat use was then conducted.
