Abstract

TADS rotation cantilever spring couple force
A case report explores the effective use of a controlled derotation spring with temporary anchorage devices (TADs) to treat the severe rotation of a first premolar in a 23-year-old male. The treatment aimed to correct malocclusion and esthetic concerns by achieving stable derotation without compromising adjacent teeth. Over 18 months, this TAD-assisted approach successfully improved occlusion and tooth alignment. Three years of post-treatment records show that the results were well maintained. This case highlights the benefits of using TADs for precise and efficient orthodontic corrections.
