Abstract

Bone defects have long posed significant challenges in clinical practice, with both their incidence and economic burden projected to rise sharply by 2040. Bone scaffolds offer a promising solution for repairing and regenerating damaged bone, with a history rooted in early biomaterials and tissue engineering.
