Abstract
The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of converging communications and e-Governance in the field of healthcare. This paper will examine how these two powerful drivers need to be utilised effectively to make changes, especially in the developing world. Developing countries do not have easily accessible technologies, however, the role of technology can still be utilised in governing the e-health system while ensuring health information is disseminated effectively and efficiently to the populations that require it. The main focus behind this paper is to discuss these two topics in the same space to show that they go hand in glove and by addressing both areas we can avoid re-inventing the wheel.
