Abstract
Interprofessional education is valuable for undergraduate health professionals as they prepare to work effectively in health-care teams. Few educational resources are available that are patient focused and demonstrate community-based, interprofessional teamwork over time.
We developed processes and written guidelines to access and ensure safe consent processes that would enable health professionals and patients to talk using an innovative, respectful approach.
