Abstract

International Law Technology
Technology has become ubiquitous for the international lawyer. It is cross jurisdictional, aterritorial, global. From digital and data sovereignty, new forms of forensics, neuro- and quantum technologies, to artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, challenges posed by dual use and digital trade - relevant topics are numerous and continuously emerging with new legal questions. As some of the long established guiding logics in national and international legal orders appear to collapse, this special issue explores selected reconfigurations of technological and political power, focusing on the impact of technology on digital trade, intellectual property rights and human rights.
