Abstract

Cerebral amyloid angiopathy-related inflammation (CAA-ri) may present with isolated leptomeningeal enhancement. Asymmetric T2 white matter hyperintensities or core features of cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) may be absent. Without pathological diagnosis, such patients may be misdiagnosed as primary angiitis of the CNS (PACNS).
