Abstract

Original
This study investigated factors associated with poor quality of life in ostomy patients in New Zealand. In addition to quality of life, we also surveyed the dietary recommendations received by the study participants. These data are important as, currently, there is a lack of data on challenges experienced by postostomy patients, including no consensus dietary guidelines for postostomy patients, posing a challenge for patients and treating clinicians.
