Abstract

New Zealand is distinct from many other countries in that its government structure is relatively "flat," which should make it easier to create national-level change. Indeed, applied cognitive psychology research has helped to drive change on a number of fronts, such as driving, early childhood education, and the criminal justice system. Here, we review our success in these areas, as well as our challenges.
