Concerto

A soulful and substantial work for cello and orchestra, with plenty of lively to-and-fro between soloist and orchestra. This work's first performance was in June 2026 at King's and Queen's Performing Arts Centre, Dunedin. The soloist is the gifted Wellington-based cellist Inbal Meddigo. Anthony Ritchie composed this concerto while on sabbatical leave at the University of Otago, in 2025.
