Abstract
Heleen du Plessis (artistic advisor, cello, soloist), Sinfonia for Hope (conducted by Hans Huyssen), Cellophonia, Lyrica Choir, Stringendo, Te Kura Māori O Porirua, Virtuoso Strings and others, performed at a concert to raise funds for the Tamariki Education Centre in Nairobi. Various pieces were performed, including works by Body, Huyssen, Ritchie, Utting and Vivaldi, as well as haka and waiata, and African drumming by Sam Manzana.
