Abstract
Hilary Halba (co-director, research, deviser), Martyn Roberts (designer, stage, light, sound), David Hutchinson (physicist, deviser), Sofia Kalogeropoulou (choreographer, deviser) and Tessa Petersen (musician, deviser) created a physical theatre piece, Fission, which was performed at the Allen Hall Theatre. Fission was created through the collaboration of a number of Dunedin physics and theatre, music, dance and design professionals, and was the culmination of a process begun in 2016 with a series of workshops between science and art academics. Fission was produced by afterburner.
