Abstract
The Octagon Ensemble with Tessa Romano (alto, artistic advisor, vocal coach), David Burchell (organ, voice) and Sharon McLennan (piano) presented works by Britten, Esenvelds, Purcell, Gesueldo, Briggs, Forrest & Chilcott/U2, as well as the world premiere of a piece by S. Wellington, and in recognition of the 'Black Lives Matter' movement, music by Rosephayne Powell. The performances were held at First Church, Invercargill, and Knox Church, Dunedin, New Zealand.
