Abstract
Our Footsteps are all Entrances is a unique work for solo violin and fixed media. Commissioned by violinist Tessa Petersen, this piece is originally based upon works from the poetry collection Homing In by Cilla McQueen. This work combines the voice of the poet alongside, within, and interconnected to new musical compositions by Jeremy Mayall. Performed as part of the Dunedin Fringe Festival, 2021.
