Abstract
Tessa Petersen (concertmaster, violin) and Heleen du Plessis (cello) performed The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Karl Jenkins with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra and City Choir Dunedin. The conducter was David Burchell, with soloists Jesse Hanan (treble), Sophie Gangl (soprano), Claire Barton (mezzo-soprano), Ben France-Hudson (tenor), Nigel Tucker (bass) and Dhafir Moussa (muezzin).
