Abstract
This short comic follows a fictional farmer who embodies the real life experiences of New Zealand farmers that are taking on regenerative agriculture. Regenerative agriculture is a type of farming that pursues improved ecological, social and economic outcomes. Using social science research on the regenerative movement, this story explores how regenerative agriculture is not only about changing on-farm practices but also the mindset. Being regenerative is therefore a journey of changing worldviews and the challenge of thinking, being and doing differently.
This comic is based on the Masters of Arts thesis research "Caring food systems? The Transformative Potential of Regenerative Agriculture in New Zealand" by Madison Seymour.
