Cancer and Chronic Conditions (C3) Collection health datasets New Zealand epidemiology
Routinely-collected hospitalisation data are commonly employed in epidemiological research. This seminar will overview the most common routine health datasets which exist in New Zealand, discuss the strengths and weaknesses of this data in the context of epidemiology, present some possible data sources to augment the routine datasets and look to the horizon and discuss the future of these datasets.
