Abstract
This Deliverable Report focusses on the research conducted by Prof. Jason Gurney across his Māori Emerging Leader Fellowship (18/588) which aimed to confront the issue of cancer survival, quality of life and palliative care for Māori cancer patients, and to influence change. The report presents key findings from multiple separate projects, organised within each of the four research objectives. Details regarding other aspects of the Fellowship, including professional development and other achievements over the Fellowship period, will be outlined in the end of contract report.
Note: the date of the deliverable report for this Fellowship (31st January 2024) occurs prior to the end of the contract (1st April 2024), and as such there may be some additional outputs from this Fellowship that are not included in this report.
