At the request of the Children’s Commissioner, Dr Russell Wills, the Expert Advisory Group on Solutions to Child Poverty was formed to explore how New Zealand can reduce child poverty and mitigate its effects.The Issues and Options paper for Consultation is a package of initial proposals put forward by the Expert Advisory Group for discussion and feedback to help inform the final report to the Children's Commissioner in December 2012.
