Abstract

Gender equality Women New Zealand Discrimination Human rights
This report details recent gains for New Zealand women towards achieving equality. In particular, the author considers how issues and challenges facing women have been identified and highlighted at seminars, workshops and discussion meetings over the past four years, and the role of technology in enabling women to contribute to discussion upon these issues. The article concludes that, whilst progress has been made, further action is required to overcome continuing discrimination.
