Abstract

science workforce mātauranga Maori R&D innovation

This report summarises a survey of the New Zealand’s science workforce’s research collaborations with industry, Māori or community groups. We wanted to find out the extent to which NZ scientists have been collaborating on research projects with non-academic groups and organizations, their intentions to collaborate in the future, and their perceived enablers and barriers to collaboration. That is, are NZ scientists in an ivory tower?
