Abstract
The Dunedin Energy Study is a joint annual research project between the Dunedin City Council (DCC) and the Centre for Sustainability at the University of Otago. This study takes stock of, and analyses energy inputs into the city of Dunedin for the financial year 2018-19.
The study was conducted between November 2019 and May 2020 and provides an estimation of the total amount of each energy type used within the city, along with an indication of the end uses of energy, and energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. It also reports on key trends in energy flows and energy-related greenhouse gas emissions since 2016.
