Abstract:
This article outlines key definitions and concepts related to the Internet and human rights, including those contained within the 2010 UN Human Rights Committee review of General Comment 34. The author concludes by briefly examining some current issues related to the Internet and human rights, such as citizen journalism and crowd-sourcing applications.
