dc.description.abstractThe 46th Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities Forum (APPA) was hosted by the National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection (INAI), in Manzanillo, Mexico, from 30 November to 2 December 2016. This article considers the Forum from the perspective of New Zealand’s Privacy Commissioner. The author discusses the focuses of the APPA, such as the use of technology to improve investigation and dispute resolution and reflects on the effect of the Forum on international developments in privacy.en_NZ
