Abstract:
We used a novel knock‐in mouse strain in which Cre recombinase is expressed together with the long isoform of the Prlr using an internal ribosome entry site (IRES). By crossing this Prlr‐IRES‐Cre mouse with a tau green florescent protein (τGFP) reporter mouse line and using GFP expression as a marker we carried out immunohistochemistry to generate a map of Prlr‐expressing neurones and fibres throughout the brain of adult mice
