Abstract
Large language models ("LLM," often colloquially known as "AI" or "generative AI") have seen massive increases in use and capabilities since their recent development. LLM are best known for increasing productivity in written documents, as chatbots, for language translation, and some artistic expression, but they also have potential for health data reporting and analysis. LLMs are highly accessible and usable for people with less experience in clinical or analytical practice. However, this appeal can hide significant barriers to their suitability in handling health data.
