Abstract
The population of Pasifika people in New Zealand is increasing, as is the enrolment of Pasifika students in tertiary education. However, universities in New Zealand are built on Western pedagogy, and may not be well-equipped to support Pasifika students. The main objective is to compare academic performance between New Zealand European (NZE) and Pasifika anatomy students. This was to identify ethnic disparity in anatomical sciences education, and identify which course requires further academic support.
