Abstract

Early onset loss of skeletal muscle and function (pre-sarcopenia) in middle-aged adults may increase the risk of later-life sarcopenia. The aim of this study was to determine whether high intensity interval training (HIIT) can counteract pre-sarcopenia in middle-aged adults.
